1 dead after residential fire causes partial collapse in Troy

One person died following a residential fire at Troy Villa in Troy, Michigan, on Thursday morning. The Troy Fire Department responded to reports of smoke and flames at 7:58 a.m., arriving to find a partially collapsed structure. After extinguishing the fire, crews searched the building and discovered the deceased individual. No other injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
