What's Happening in Troy
TROY — 9/19/2026
Troy Daze closes out its run Sunday at the Troy Civic Center, the Troy School District Board of Education meets Tuesday, and Ditch the Heels runs at the San Marino Club Thursday. Nearly everything else on Troy's own calendar this week is a Troy or Athens school game. The week's news and school sports run in separate editions.

Troy Daze: Sunday Finale
Troy Daze closes out noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Troy Civic Center. Admission is $5 cash or $7 by card, with free parking around the Troy Community Center or a free shuttle from the Library Center parking garage at 100 W. Big Beaver Road. The festival began Sept. 17.
The Rest of the Week
Yom Kippur begins at sundown Sunday on the Troy School District calendar, continuing into Monday. The TSD Board of Education meets Tuesday. Ditch the Heels: Bet on Yourself! runs Thursday at the San Marino Club, and The Great Eastern Sun: A Meditative Sound Journey into Basic Goodness runs Saturday at CenterPeace Healing and Events Center Troy.
Nearly every other entry on Troy's events feed this week is a school game — football, volleyball, soccer, golf, tennis, swimming and cross country. Those, and last week's results, run in the separate Troy High School Sports edition.
